Not a typical hackerspace. First they built very basic housing and grew food by hand, then they developed a powersource/tractor and CEB press to make better walls from dirt. They're continuing with a cnc torch table for digital fabrication, a sawmill and a solar energy concentrator for heat and energy (and better housing), and are planning to create all the infrastructure for sustainable living (including fablab hardware). All opensource and for the price of under tenth of commercial equipment (including labor). They welcome visitors and all kinds of contributions!

[edit] A suggestion: their weblog ( http://openfarmtech.org/weblog/ ) could be a nice addition to planet.hackerspaces.org
