Regular member meetings are held on every Tuesday at 18:00. Activities open to the public will be announced well in advance.

9/12: A sound workshop by Ms. C - radio, mike technique, gain control, electronics behind it.

The space is open to members at (almost) all times.

  • Hosting a trip to Berlin for the Chaos Communication Congress (Update: The bus is fully booked! Hope to see you there, anyway! And welcome to our meetings.)
  • November: basic electronics work
  • October has seen some robots kit assembly
  • In September we are working on a "mobile radio distributed speaker sound system".

We initiate projects now and then, as a group. We want to tinker to learn.

  • September 2008 - Sound system - aborted (we learnt: projects should not be too ambitious)
  • October 2008 - Jukebox - in planning
  • December 2008 - IR playground we are understanding and playing with infrared light.

Soldering equipment.

Oscilloscope. Multimeters.

Lots of preowned CRTs. Gotta find a great use for these.

Some inkjet printers (good for gutting for parts).

Quite a lot of loose components (just found a bag of resistors).

You might know our friends, if we enumerated them. We know people in mosig, some Arduino folks at K3. And we like shopping at local store Electrokit. (Every time we go there we mention Forskningsavdelningen, ensuring brand recognition.)

[edit] Log of building phase (Historical)

We are currently in a renovation phase where we are cleaning and painting. We have meetings every day, until we have our hackerspace up and running.

Floor has been polished with metal brushes. Not cleanroom quality, but definitely good.

Walls have gotten a coat of white paint on them.

The hackerspace is now cleaned up and we are ready for official meetings. Regular meetings will be held on every Tuesday at 18:00.
