I am fascinated about the idea of Hackerspace. Living in Limerick now, I wonder whether there are some guys interested in setting up such hackerspace in Limerick.
I am open to any suggestion in which area to begin, but my interests are mainly in:
- Programming C and C++
- Electronics, PCB design
- Arduino or AVR programming
- Robotics
We've now had a meeting (15 attended, I think) on 2010-08-23, and are getting going on drawing up requirements for a physical space, and looking at possible sites. Discussions are ongoing on our google group.
