Making Place[edit]

The Alternative Technology Centre in Hebden Bridge has long been at the vanguard of green and sustainable technology, showcasing the latest innovations in creative recycling and upcycling, renewables and open source thinking to visitors who drop by its tranquil canal-side mill. Now they have upped the ante to get local people more involved in learning about the ways we can all be responsible for our own consumption and the environment, by building a new hackerspace called the Making Place.
