Monterey

I'm a science and math teacher for the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District, an engineer, and a computer scientist with two decades of Silicon Valley startup experience at companies like TiVo.

I'm looking for a donated location in the Monterey/Pacific Grove/Salinas area where a hack/maker space can be established where kids can be taught computing, electronics, robotics, and similar skills, even if it's just available part-time (e.g., evenings and/or weekends). We would need secured storage for tools and materials if the space isn't available full-time.

Please post information here if you can help with donation of a location, assisting with the operation of the hack/maker space, donating tools and/or materials, publicizing events, etc.
