About Us

Central Connecticut's Premier Hackerspace & Makerspace

What is NESIT?: 2,000 Square feet of industrial lab space for projects, workshops, and scientific experimentation combined with a community of like-minded individuals that possess a natural curiosity for science and technology.

Who joins NESIT?: We are radically inclusive and will accept any law-abiding person as a member. Our membership is quite diverse - It consists of Artists, Programmers, Sysadmins, Consultants, Machinists, and Engineers. We stress diversity and difference, promoting equal opportunity whenever possible.
