[edit] Oxford Hackspace

We are working on setting up an independent space in Oxford for the hacking needs of our diverse, creative and talented maker community. Our goal is to have permanent space(s) to make, break and repair our creations, learn new skills, inspire and get inspired in the company of like-minded people.

Oxford Hackspace has undergone a revival in Summer 2012, with new people involved as well as some from before. We call it v2.0. It is quite active. We meet about once a week, and we are doing some interesting technology projects as well as seriously investigating pathways to a permanent workshop and co-working space.

Wherever your interest lies, this is a space to do it. You're always welcome to do your own thing or take part in workshops. The more diverse our group, the more stuff you learn.

For pointers to our mailing list, wiki and IRC, our web site is here.
