| description | The Production Manager post is responsible for the production and installation of a small telecoms device for the hospitality service industry based in Bali. The manager will also be accountable for adequate quality assurance within a small production, the maintenance workshop and appropriate record keeping.
This is a unique opportunity to join an expanding company at the initial stage of product development and implementation. |
Experience and skills.
You will be managing a small production and development team. This will include hands one technical solutions to the development of the product including it's engineering design. This will involve you in providing easy to implement cost aware solutions to electronic production issues and their realisation. The maintenance of the device, installation and servicing will also be under your management. You will have to present ongoing verbal and written reports to the Bali Epicure manager and these will include cost analysis and projected targets for the production under your command. All of these skills will involve your ability to creatively solve problems within an ever changing environment. You will also manage the day to day running of a workshop and its staff. This includes the stock control and ordering of items needed in the maintenance and manufacture of the phone item.
Management of a small production team
Stock control and ordering of components.
Maintenance and upkeep of a small workshop.
Delivery schedule and installation of telecomm devices.
Recognition of technical deficiencies and ability to come up with good manageable solutions.
In house training of members of a team in production techniques.
Some experience of software programming (training provided).
Self motivated, experience of setting up a communications project.
Understanding of technical documents like manuals, circuit diagrams.
Understandings of quality assurance and testing techniques.
Soldering and simple electronic production
Excellent writing and spoken skills
Good English verbal communication skills including the ability to explain technical work to non technical staff.
Experience of report writing and email.
Qualification Degree Electronic Engineering
Good time keeping
Hours 9 to 5pm 5 days a week 60 hours
