Quelab just started its 3rd year of operations in July!

November 2013 Quelab upgraded from a very small house 1200sqft to a much larger warehouse/office suite with over 6800sq foot, To allow us us to setup metal/wood/electronics shops and also a classroom, a textile room, game room, 3dprint room and more!

We have been hosting events about every other month, the most successful ones have been our annual "March of the Robots" events and our Hacking Chocolate Event, we we did everything from spherification to making a rocket engine out of Milky Way bars! and we recently exhibited 3d printing and geekery at the Albuquerque Comic Expo.

We were featured on Hackaday's Southwest tour, http://hackaday.com/2012/08/07/southwest-tour-quelab-in-albuquerque-new-mexico/

We are participating with Mach32 to launch our own High altitude Balloon project (Code name: Space Chiles)

We played a very large role in our town's first & second Mini Maker Faires. We are excited to see them grow every year, and look forward to the next one!

Over 1000 photos of projects and events from our Hackerspace can be seen on our flickr group, http://www.flickr.com/groups/quelab/pool/
