Starting at 22- 25K + performance bonus Reporting to the company directors, the role requires a very efficient, organised and friendly self starter, who will organise their own as well as other’s schedules or diaries to provide the most cost effective and efficient method of operation. If you are not phased by, can demonstrate expertise in or have evidence of achievements in the following please get in touch. • Provide first line helpdesk support to clients, assisting them with hardware and software problems via phone and email. • Visit client sites to assist other technical staff. • To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles • Maintain a log of any software or hardware problems detected • To take ownership of user problems and be pro-active when dealing with user issues. • Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice. • Carry out daily client systems checks, reporting to Directors where necessary. • Produce monthly reports on clients’ systems. • Experience of server 2012, software development and configuration. • Programming in visual basic java and/or other OO language • Experience of VPN, Cisco, routers and firewall configuration, installation and support • Experience of network cabling, electrical and electronic circuit design and installation. • Preparation of estimates, plans, risk registers and resource schedules • Able to provide detailed project support on major projects, including, compiling reports, working papers, risk registers and any other paperwork required as part of the project. • Interception and filtering of phone calls, the taking of accurate and informative messages • Managing electronic diaries, arranging and setting up of meetings. • Must be able to carry out tasks, prioritise own workload and make decisions on a daily basis relevant to projects and tasks currently being worked on, producing information for Project Officers and making decisions on problems that occur throughout the lifecycle of the project, all with minimum supervision. • Must be able to keep calm and organised under pressure, and maintain a professional, helpful and positive image at all times. • Must have strong organisational skills, both in organising own workload and meet deadlines.. • Must have well developed knowledge of IT applications, including databases, support systems, CRM, spread sheets, word processing, diary management. • Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
