Stockholm Makerspace is a makerspace situated near the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in downtown Stockholm, Sweden. We focus mostly on electronics, 3D printers, laser cutting, CNC machining and woodworking. We also have a sewing room that has several sewing machines including an overlock machine as well as a software controllable knitting machine. There's also a well equipped welding workshop with a MIG/MAG welder, a TIG/MMA welder as well as a plasma cutter.

To use some of the tools available, members are required to take a course. Courses are held on a (semi-)regular basis.

Materials for milling and turning such as steel, brass and aluminium, as well as endmills and turning inserts are available for sale to members. There's also acrylic and MDF sheets for laser cutting available in several thicknesses, as well as PLA filament for 3D printing.

The building is shared with AWL/THINGS, an incubator for startup companies. Workshops are held several times per month. Lab members have all-day-round access to the localities.

Visitors: Please make sure that there are people at the makerspace to receive you. Check with us on Facebook or on the Slack server if you are planning to visit.
