Why Low Barrier To Entry is a good idea
- Barriers discourage quick/casual contributions.
- Barriers send a message that we don't value non-members.
What Low Barrier to Entry looks like
- No/minimal signup/approval process.
- Ability to be anonymous.
- Use commonplace tools that people already know how to use

- generic mailing list that does not require a particular email account (mailman)
