I know I'm not alone in wishing there was a space for geek minds to mingle in a frequent and semi-structured format. I particularly like @ultramegaman's mention from the Protospace wiki [ http://hackerspaces.org/wiki/Protospace ] of the potential to break down silos and find interesting tangents/overlaps between different professions.
